Here is a picture of John posing with his guns. Im not sure what that thing is on his head. John is growing out his hair. I'm loving the whole side swoosh thing he has going on! Isn't he a hottie?

I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm so glad he shaved off his molestache.

Sleeping troubles

I have been trying to get Jack to sleep through the night in his own bed... not fun! I have been letting him cry and it is breaking my heart. It has been easier but still not easy. I have heard it could take up to 2 weeks. Hope not.

Jack learned how to play patty cake. While I was nursing him he was sitting there clapping his hands. He is so proud of himself it's hilarous. He has also been jabbering ALOT. I think he is going to be a little "chatter box".

He has also learned to play peak-a-boo. He puts the blanket over his head and then pulls it down and laughs soo hard. It is really funny to watch. I need to film it for John. There are a lot of things I need to film for John. John I miss you and Jack misses you too!

Smile

Jack knows what it means when you say "smile" and take his picture. I guess that is from taking over 6,000 pictures of this sweet little boy!

Jack had his 9 month check up the other day. He weighs 19 lbs and is 28 inches long. He is kind of a shrimp. I always thought he was a little chunker! I also found out that he had a double ear infection. After answering a list of questions from the doctor

• Yes, Jack still sleeps with me
• No, he doesn't sleep through the night
• Yes, I still nurse at night
• No, I don't have gates on the stairs
• No, he doesn't sleep in his crib...ever
• No, I don't brush his teeth every morning and night

I realized that I am not a perfect mother and that's okay!
